Rizzo is the first female dog I’ve ever had. Max begged for a dachshund for years but the only ones I had ever met where mean and hard to train. One day at work a person I’ve known for years said that he had a 15 week old mini doxie that he needed to find a home for and he would sell her to us for less. So that day we met Rizzo and too her home the following weekend. I have loved her ever since! She isn’t a yippee dog or mean. She has never shown any aggression towards anyone and is good with other animals and strangers. She learns VERY quickly and is a little princess. I couldn’t have asked for more in my little odd looking girl! Now I’m stuck on the breed, maybe one day we’ll get another one, but that time, I hope to get a black and tan! *wink*
FurBabies
Elijah is about three years old. He’s been a part of our family for about a year and a half, we got him in January, 2007. Ally was working out at the local animal shelter at the time and raved about this cat that ran around outside his cage when they were cleaning and was such a character and they all loved. Of course we had to meet him, and took him home right away. Elijah is a one of a kind cat. He is very temperamental and likes things his way but loves to cuddle and give “love bites” and sleep cuddles between Max and I. He plays every morning with Rizzo! Elijah is our baby, an amazing one at that!
